The “S T” Principle

If you are serious about your success you must learn the “S T” principle. If you go back through history and study the lives of the most successful people of all time you will find that they all, without exception, practiced this principle. The amazing thing about the “S T” principle is that if you apply this principle in your life you will reach your dreams much faster than you ever imagined.

”Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.” Martin Luther King Jr.

The year that I began using the “S T” principle in my lawn company our sales grew over three hundred percent that year. The great thing about the “S T” principle is that you don’t have to have any special knowledge or education to apply it to your own life.

So, are you ready to learn the “S T” principle? Are you ready to begin changing you life? The “S T” principle is very simple. The “S T” principle is the “Start Today” principle. Regardless of what you want to do apply the “Start Today” principle to it.

It doesn’t matter if you apply the “S T” principle to starting your work out program or apply it to starting a new company. The “Start Today” principle will set you apart from most of the people in the world. The reason that most people don’t start an exercise program today is because tomorrow they will have more time. The reason most people don’t start their own business is because they don’t have enough experience. Just by applying the “Start Today” principle you will be able to accomplish more of your dreams.

“The world doesn’t pay you for what you know; it pays you for what you do.” Jack Canfield

This may surprise you, but you don’t need to read any other books or attend any other seminars. You must “Start Today.” I’ve been guilty of saying that I can’t start a new company because I don’t know enough about that type of business. When I decided that I wanted to write this book I applied the “S T” principle. I didn’t have any experience writing a book or know how to get it published. If I had waited to take classes and read books on how to write and publish, I still would be learning how to write and publish a book.

Ready, Fire, Aim!

I’m sure that you are familiar with the saying “Ready, Aim, Fire!” As Jack Canfield points out in his book The Success Principles, most people spend so much aiming that they never fire. The only way to know if you aim is off is to fire. Once you fire then you know what type of corrections you need to make in order to hit your target with more accuracy.

You have to use the “Start Today” principle in every area of your life. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t continue reading good books and learning everything you can. What I am saying is that you must “Start Today.” You can worry about the details later.

When I owned the lawn company we worked for over a year trying to get one of the largest clients in our market. We didn’t have the proper equipment, the proper manpower or even the proper knowledge required to do the job. We didn’t wait until all of our ducks were in a row. We kept pursuing the accounts and once we received the contract then we got all of our ducks in a row.

It doesn’t matter what your dreams are, you must “Start Today” working toward those dreams. Don’t wait on more knowledge, more experience or more money. “START TODAY”
